Rogan Josh  

You are not a meat lover if you haven’t tried this famous dish from Kashmir- ‘Rogan Josh’. This dish was introduced during the Mughal era and is the signature recipe of Kashmir. The dish is for all the meat and lamb lovers and is made up of onions, spices, and yoghurt and is a low-fat healthy dish. Foodies try it with rice and naan for the best Rogan-Josh experience.

Modhur Pulav

This dish has saffron as the main ingredient which makes it more beautiful, tasty, and attractive. The saffron used in the pulav is grown in Kashmir only which makes the dish even more unique. Modhur Pulav is the Kashmiri Pulav or rice which is prepared using ghee, saffron, cinnamon, milk, sugar, cashew nuts, almonds, and green cardamom.

Dum Olav/ Dum Aaloo

All the veg lovers, Kashmir has got something for you as well. The famous potato cuisine famous in northern parts of the country has originated from Kashmir.
